I'm Chris Cote, a portrait photographer serving the NH Seacoast.

I've spent over 30 years behind a camera. For the last twelve, I've focused on business portraits: executives, attorneys, consultants, small business owners, and teams of all sizes. I also photograph artists and musicians, and take on commercial work for clients who need something more considered than a standard headshot.

My style is directed and deliberate. I'm not a candid photographer. I come to a session with a plan, I craft the light, and I guide people through the process from start to finish. What I've gotten good at over the years, beyond the technical side, is making people comfortable in front of a camera. Most people genuinely dislike having their picture taken. By the end of a session, most of them have forgotten that.

I work on-location throughout the Seacoast and beyond. I'm available at your office, your workspace, or wherever makes sense for the session.

Past clients include Planet Fitness World HQ, Lighthouse Credit Union, AAA, BJ's Wholesale Club, and First Citizens Bank, along with a long list of smaller businesses and independent professionals across the region.

Outside of photography, I'm an active musician and a lover of nature, and I live in Portsmouth.
